Next Sunday we will have a guest speaker - John Brush, from the Southwest Florida church.

CAMPUS WELCOME BACK WEEKEND
The Campus Ministry will be having a "Welcome Back Weekend" on August 22^nd and 23^rd, open to everyone.
· Campus devotional get-together
· Saturday, August 23^rd - We will be going out to share our faith as we assist FGCU campus students in moving into their dorms. Please sign up with Cesar for either 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM or 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM.
· 12:00 PM - Barbecue on campus, location to be announced.
· Potluck on Sunday after church (more below…)

We will be enjoying a potluck lunch together after our worship service on August 24^th. In order to have enough food for our families as well as our guests, please bring twice the amount that you would serve your household for the following four items: Main dish, vegetable or salad, Starch or bread, Dessert.  Please arrive at least 15 minutes early in order to get set up for our lunch and begin our worship service on time.  Thanks so much for your generosity and willing spirit!  If you have any questions, please contact Julie Mitchell at 287-2551.

TEEN/CAMPUS HOUSE CHURCH
Teen/Campus house church will be at the home of Ian and Myrtle October on August 31^st, 2008, at 11:00 AM. Any questions, please call the Octobers: 239-303-9464. The address is 4306 11 Street SW, Lehigh Acres, FL 33971.

SPECIAL MISSION CONTRIBUTION
Our collection for 2008 will be at our All-Church midweek on Wednesday, October 29^th, 2008. As in past years this contribution is to support the Florida Missions Council and related ministries in Latin America. Our goal this year is the same as last year - $8,000.00.

BLOOD DRIVE
The annual blood drive will take place on Sunday, September 7^th. The Blood Mobile will be taking donations from 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM. Please see Ed or Erma Hodge about signing up for a time slot to give blood.
Make sure to eat breakfast that morning, and avoid coffee!
